This class is designed to promote age-appropriate learning and development, including both structured and unstructured activity.
- Free choice activity time allows for self direction and the opportunity to further develop socialization skills.
- Group activities with weekly themes to promote sharing and concept building circle time and snack time.
- Fine motor skills are developed further at our sensory table and through activities using scissors to practise cutting.
- Personal artistic expression continues when our children paint freely, complete boundless projects, and use a variety of materials.
- Circle time hones lifelong learning skills such as paying attention, taking turns, and sharing ideas in a group setting.
- Children further develop their knowledge of colors, shapes, letters, and numbers through songs, games, books, puzzles, and activities.
- Crucial gross motor skill development is encouraged through music and movement activities as well as outside play throughout the year, weather permitting.
- 4 field trips throughout the year.
