Education Through Nature

Class Day & Time TBD

Maximum of 13 children per class

Maximum ratio 2:13

This program connects children to nature and they learn through their senses from direct experience. The children will go on field explorations tying into their natural scientific inquiry.

The classroom is set up for class with 3 to 4 'stations' all linked to the theme for that class (examples are: footprints, caterpillar/butterfly life cycles or changing seasons).

Children are encouraged to complete each activity, in the order they choose. This more structure playtime is then followed by snack, story time, songs/rhymes and outside time (weather permitting) all still linked into the class theme for the week. Field trips play are more regular part in the Nature class.

Can be undertaken as a standalone, once a week program or as a compliment to the 3 and 4 year old classes.
